No Video on SRB2 Mac

Whenever I start up SRB2 on my Mac (10.12 Sierra), I get no video. I hear sounds and music, and I can control the menus and everything, I'm just not seeing anything. How can I fix this?
 
This is through wine i assume?
When i run it on software mode through wine, it usually does that.
So opengl mode just does the trick for me.

Nah, I'm doing it through the native SRB2 Mac program. I can try Wine really quick and see what happens.

Wine does the same thing for me. Black screen, sounds, controllable, but no video.

Okay, it is simple enough.
You just add -opengl as a parameter when you open either version.

Unfortunately I'm not getting anything regardless of what I'm doing. I'm gonna play around with it a bit more and see what I can do.

To be honest I don't know how you got that far. SRB2Mac won't even boot on my MacBook. I ended up using bootcamp to run Windows as well as mac, so I stopped messing with SRB2Mac. Hope you can figure it out though man.
 
I've had the same problem, apparently this doesn't happen in OpenGL mode. If you still haven't found a way to run OpenGL, you can try out the launcher sonicfreak made, it has an option to run the game in OpenGL.
