MIDI music only playing 1 instrument

Would you mind saying what the symptoms, cause, and solution was? It could help somebody else if they have the same problem later.

The title explains it. I have this thing installed called VirtualMIDISynth that disables the midi music for some reason, but when I turn it off the midi only has 1 instrument. I'm pretty sure it's the piano, but I'm not sure. Wasn't broken before I got the software.
QUICK EDIT: Gonna uninstall the software.

I suspect the issue was unrelated to SRB2 and not something the average person should come across.
