I second this notion. It looks wonderful (and I love the photographic screenshot too) and I will be downloading it as soon as you release it.

On another note, I ran into a "Maximum WAD files reached." error when testing out some of the characters posted in this thread. Is that normal?

Speaking of characters though, now that there's no Riders, R and NiGHTS modes to worry about, do you think maybe we could utilise these extra animation frames by giving characters unique power slide frames (to do away with the misaligned wheel sparks on certain characters, or for those who want their custom characters to lean) and maybe some actions like launching items and taunting enemies when passing them? If not in the default characters, at least available to modders.

I did try out your Rosy btw. It's nice and all, but it suffers greatly from being asymmetrical, even moreso than Sonic, Tails and Knuckles do in this mod. You should center her in the kart more. Her heavily anti-aliased sprites cause her to not fit in with most of the other characters either, but I realise this isn't your fault and I wouldn't worry about fixing it, just make her fit in the kart better. (and both issues are something Sonic and Tails have anyway, just not quite so severely)

But I am sorry to say, as much as I love classic Amy and the original rosy.wad, I don't think I'll be using her kart-variant much.

So after seeing how awful Zarro's new spedometer was, I wanted to make a new one, but had no ideas. But then, RoyKirbs gave me one...

The SMB3 P-Meter (or more specifically, its SMA4 version) is now a spedometer! Retro, classy, and functional.

Though, this is subject to change (Mainly, offsets).

I'll look into doing it once such frames become available to current characters for testing; or at least for one of them (*coughSonictheposterboycough*).

Oh geez, the spedometer is even WORSE than last time. It's far too bright and the numbers just look smudged together.

I say we wait till Iceman404 finishes the new P meter.

Also includes revamped 1st person mode icons based off SMB3's panels, but those are difficult to get shots of.

EDIT: Quick Patch! Fixed the blue sparks and two other icons.

Zarro didn't seem to ever add them to misc so here's a link to all three. (All three include face life icons cause Zarro wants "CONSISTENCY") >:<

Sinkoo will get another update that'll fix his sunglasses and mouth, I DID fix them before but the colors got screwed up in the process and I was too lazy to redo it again at the time.

Speaking of the speedometer, why did you replace the original one - which was totally fine - in the first place? Is everyone so infatuated with "I wanna contribute to the kart mod" that nobody cares to take a look if the new graphics are actually better than the ones they replace?

I'm a big fan of Mario Kart and i've played about all the Mario Kart games (MK64-MK7). I just wish some of these tracks had more of a Mario Kart spirit. Other than that, I like it a lot.

Another thing, what is up with the connection? Every time I try to join a game, SRB2Kart "stops responding"....
Plus I see pings that are in the 1-3 Billions.
I don't know if its just me, but is there anyway to make this more playable online?
 
Thing is Super Mario Kart for SNES is the very first Mario kart game ever made.

Its like one of the best 2D racing games on the SNES. Well worth buying if you have a SNES laying somewhere in your house.

Also its very hard game as well. Its one of those games that makes you feel frustrated as well makes you keep coming back to it.

Anyway Super Mario Kart is the first game. While Mario Kart 64 is the next game that came out.
