Chasecam off in time attack

I cant figure out how to turn of the chasecam in time attack. I don't even know how to play srb2 with the chasecam on. Can someone help please?

Type "chasecam off" or "chasecam on" in the console to toggle it.

Ahem, it's not that easy. When I press the console key, it goes back to time attack menu. If I press esc, it goes back to time attack menu.

Then turn the chasecam on/off before you start the time attack.

What Fawfulfan probably meant is, type "chasecam off" in the console while you're on the main menu. After that just play time attack, you'll start with no chasecam.
