something's wrong with srb2! please help

ok when i add a wad char lets say blaze the cat when i play as her then i save then quit then get back on its a purple sonic! not blaze please tell me how to save the char and keep it! also, when i add wad chars and i go to new game and it has the pic of the char and name, when i quit then come back none of my added files are there! please help me!

You have to re-add the wad files each time you load srb2, and its the same answer for both your questions
