Ok, after 2 failed attempts to purge this topic from its stupidity, I've decided that we simply cannot handle an IRC quotes topic, reasoning being:
1) We tried having a quotes topic before and failed.
2) Most of these quotes aren't condensed to just the relevant lines.
3) Most of these quotes lack the proper quote tags.
4) Breaking the fourth wall in a post was only funny the first time.
5) People are abusing the idea of a quotes page to get away with posting quotes that are offensive and/or rulebreaking.
6) Spazzo jokes are not funny. Having <Spazzo> in a quotation is not grounds to add something to this topic whatsoever.
7) People are "manufacturing" stupid moments in the chatroom so they have an excuse to post in this topic.
It's a shame for those who DID post a quote that did not fall under #2-7 that this topic has to be closed thanks to the actions of the less mature users here. Maybe we can try this topic again in another two years when we all gain some common sense.
