ChoRenSha 68k is a curtain-fire game for the Sharp X68000 (later ported over to Windows) , a Japanese home computer that was first released in 1987.

The game itself was released in 1990 or 1991 and plays similar to vertical shoot 'em ups around that time and today except it has the power up system similar to the one in FRAXY (if anyone played that game before) you only have to means of attacking, your one only regular bullets that can become more powerful with collection of power-ups like most arcade shooters and your bombs.

You also can play through the game in "loops" like Gradius, for example you start to play the game on Loop 1-1 (which might be ridiculously easy at first) through the last level when first you start and when you beat the game it will move onto 2-1 which contains the same levels except with increased difficulty and so on.

The stage enemies are threatening and the bosses are too if you are not careful, especially on higher difficulties.

Most of the music in the game is pretty catchy but the music of the game altogether can give mixed feelings.

I would highly recommend it to anyone that either played curtain-fire games or even are interested in arcade shooters, it is pretty fun.
