Quick question

Okay, I'm making a sound wad for myself, and what i'm doing is taking the midis from the game and using a very high quality sound font to redo the songs and write them in OGG format. Not editing them in any way except for changing the instruments (I already redid GFZ 1 and 2, they sound amazing) I would just like to know if its okay to upload those kinds of wads here? I could also provide a link to one of the songs I finished if you'd like to hear it. Thanks!

Unfortunately, music WADs are not allowed. I know that's because the music in question is generally ripped from a copyrighted source and we don't want to invoke the wrath of the RIAA, and that taking music already included with the game probably doesn't fall under that, but I believe the rule applies here regardless.

That being said, feel free to put out your mixes in a topic on SRB2 Discussion. You just can't put out a WAD. (Might have to ask for clarification on the WAD deal, honestly...)

Lol I don't think anyone would be that interested XD but thanks again for the quick reply! I'm also working on a level mod, is it okay to put my own mixed of other sonic the hedgehog songs for back ground music?
