That was a big ol' excuse because I KINDA not only suck at mapping, but can't use most of the time given.

This needs a lot of work, but it could be your starting point for an actual level. The first problem is the scale - it's WAY too small and cramped. Sonic needs a lot more space to reach full acceleration, and it's not fun to be constantly stopping and walking through the level at low speeds. Select the whole level, press E to edit selection, and increase the scale by 400% on the righthand panel in Zone Builder. Yes, 4x size. Play around with the level at that scale and get a good feel for how it plays. Other problems include map visual bugs and sectors being too bright, but those are minor compared to how cramped he map is.

The gimmicks are neat, but the texturing needs work. Too many awkward transitions from wall to wall.
 
Still Working on my level since even if im new to zone builder and mapping il try my best but lets get to the chase.

Just a heads up if I didn't say it already, I have just claimed Custom bustable sprite slot ROIH

If anyone else is using custom bustable sprites, please refer to the WIKI as Zonebuilder is using the wrong numbers for the sector types.

My concern looking at it is just that textures on stuff you interact with, and the surfaces you can land on should pop out from the background, and some of the rooms in there really have their stuff blend in.

"Island Adventure" Tropical Island: right off the bat, I have to hunt down the map number. (MAP02)
Once I got into the level, I went after the invincibility box, and fell into the background water trying to get back on track. I don't know if this is a SRB2 issue or an issue with the level, but I can't spin from pressing the S key here! I have to use E! (My set spin key for the game) It could also be an axis 2d issue in witch case, please address this Red Enchidna.

outside of that, it was an alright special stage.

may I ask what your spin key is? I use "E" because it's easy to get to in 3d mode, but once I'm in 2d mode, I have to use the finger that controls "Strafe Left" instead of the finger that controls "move backwards". in 2d mode it's much easier to use "move backwards" instead of "Use"(general FPS Binding) because I already have a finger on the key, plus it's instinct carried over from the official 2D Sonic games to press down to spin.
 
My spin "key" is JOY3 (X Button) so my controls are in a smaller area since my movement is the left stick, strafing is the right stick and both ring tosses are my trigger buttons (Z-Axis)

I just play srb2 like if it's a Sega Genesis game. I use Z to jump, X to spin, C for ring toss, Space bar for Different ring toss, W and up, S and down, A to strafe left, d to strafe right, and left and right to turn around the camera.

Elvin wanted to submit Crimson Castle as well, but due to the lack of internet for 4 weeks... He said to me to submit this level.
