What's Your Keyboard Layout?

Ah. I've been having trouble finding a comfortable spot for them. Maybe I'll try that haha.
But since I go full keyboard in coop, and use noise in March etc I thought it might be difficult

Ah. I've been having trouble finding a comfortable spot for them.

If you check my controls, almost everything is bunched around the movement controls. I can play so fluently because all my keyboard controls are in the left side, and all my mouse controls are separate. It takes time to get used to SRB2 (I'm still trying to remember how to toss the flag sometimes!)

Yup. I remember my countless Meadow Match games playing only with the keyboard =p

Currently my keyboard layout is the default layout which happens to be the following.

Turn Left: Left arrow.
Turn Right: Right arrow.
Move Forward: Up arrow or W.
Move Backward: Down arrow or S.
Strafe Left: A.

Jump: Z.
Spindash: X.

Is there a better keyboard layout? I am used to WADS keys but will it work for this game here?

Everything else is pretty much at default.

The control scheme is set up so that I can seamlessly switch between third-person gamemodes, where I use the keyboard only, and first-person gamemodes, where I use the mouse. My left hand controls everything except turning; as you may notice, the important keys, like movement, jump, and spin, are set up ergonomically in an orthodox format. The only keys I ever find out of reach are custom 2 and custom 3, but even when playing as custom characters that use them they are used sparingly, and are still within reach.

My right hand controls turning. In third-person gamemodes, this is done with the left and right arrows. The ring toss key (right shift) is also nearby should any custom skin require it. When heading into a first-person gamemode, all I have to do is move my right hand to the mouse and press F. The ring toss keys are set to the mouse buttons, and everything else I might need is already set up as before for my left hand.

Bit of a long explanation, I know, but I thought it was worth sharing.

I want to challenge myself by using a Nintendo 64 controller

I try to be as efficient as possible when playing SRB2, especially in Match. So I had to change the keys up a bit so I could play the best I could, and shoved a couple of binds in there too lol
