Doing a Speed Rail (Riders)

Open up Metal City and find out.

...okay, fine, I'll tell you.

The rail itself needs to be an intangible FOF, and have the sector effect that is something along the lines of "Riders rail" or something. Then, give it a tag. Make a new control sector, and give a linedef the effect of "Riders parameters" and the tag you gave the rail FOF's control sector. Use the parameter like you would a speed pad or conveyor belt. After which, it'll work. Keep in mind that you will need multiple rails and control sectors to make the rail change direction.

Not the best explanation, but it should work.

If you need an example on this and Power shortcuts, use this: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7986587/x_RidersTest.wad
a Fly shortcut example is there too, but is incomplete due to it using (groan) NiGHTS hoops and bumpers.
