I'll agree with half of what you said, but recall that they didn't do that as much in the FIRST game. Once KH2 came in, it was just like you mentioned, but worst. The first game and the expantion were deep in story and followed a steady pace in the plot. Most of the disney worlds didn't follow the exact storyline like KH2 did, in this case I was happy that they didn't cause it allowed more focus on just the game. Fighting is repetitive, but thats not new news, worlds were small but had more secrets and pathways to take to give you a venturing feel. It was more about travel, with a hint of fighting.
