Sonic 1 Warp ring (BigRingTest.wad)

Yesterday, Tets mentioned something on IRC (I forget what it was), and It Inspired me to make Something like a Sonic 1 Warp Ring. It warps you to the special stage (I may improve this too a bit)

Yes... The Ring is Small, I'm Going to make it bigger, that is if someone would help me or something (Preferabbly Draykon or whatever)

EDIT3: GAH! It seems like you need the Sound effect linedef... I fixed it and updated the link
EDIT4: I found another bug and Fixed, It seems when you Hit the ring, it would transport you to the special stage, and the level would keep looping itself over and over :eek:
EDIT5: I removed one of the Freeslot SOCs and replaced it with the Token soc, Made it a bit easier for myself, PLUS, a new file upload site!

There is some bugs that I found out as well...
1) Playing in race mode, (Strangley) Turns the Big Ring, Into a Random monitor Box
2) Going into the ring, will not make your character sprites dissapear, I have tried that, and it Either crashes the game, or the Ring dissapears without the extra animation (I might be able to make this work... Just wait a while)

Updated wad... I fixed up a Size error in one of the things (The size (Height and Radius) does not alter the sprites in any way, as far as I know) and added a better sound file for the "warp" sound to make it seems like its better quality (sort of...)

EDIT: UPDATED LINK... I got rid of some things in the wad...

EDIT2: Seems like I needed that Sound effect linedef in there, Anyway, Updated link again...
 
I was going to make a Big ring wad. Mine was a bigger ring like toonring only bigger and it dosent move.
 
Well this ring doesnt move either... I mean, It moves by Spinning around, but not by Moving around the map

Edit: Also, I am getting lots of page views on this topic, but no replies... I want to know what you people think... :?
 
Nitro: Try reloading the page, I can view it just fine...

Black Zero: The sprite isnt from either of the games... Its Darkened sprites of the Sonic 3 (and knuckles) sprites...

Yeah, Apparently I fixed an error that I found a while ago... See the first post...
 
This was my fav way to open a special stage!!!

But since rings are easier to get in SRB2 than Sonic 1, how about making the ring appear at 80 rings instead of the regular 50! :)


I mean when you get it all working properly in the first place first.
 
The ring count linedef executor should allow you to have it only appear when you have 50 rings or more.
 
Im confused... How would I go about making it appear if people have 50 rings?
I have a Linedef executer that activates the Sound for the warp because, somehow, when people go into the Warp ring, It doesnt play its sound for some reason... :?
Go ahead, try removing it, It wont play the sound then.

EDIT: Alright, I am going to try and do a couple of things here with the Linedefs... I just had an Idea In my head, and I'm pretty sure it'll work...

But in the mean time, I updated it quite a bit. I removed one of the freestates and replaced it with the Token state :P

Because in old Sonic games like in Sonic 1 and CD (like you have it), you have to collect 50 rings for the Special Stage ring to appear...

Yes, I know that, but I might have trouble implementing it, because my idea, didnt seem to work out like how I wanted :?
