Can't get custom powerups to work

What's wrong? It gives the sound, but it doesn't make you flash.

Remember the last time you asked and noone knew/cared?

Hey, why not try to get a DIFFERENT powerup variable to be set and see if that works?

Ok... If it doesn't work, then I might have to stick this in the Bug Report list... Was it even tested? Do you remember the Linedef Executor, 'change music'? It wasn't tested, and it didn't work. Maybe, this wasn't tested, and it'll work.

I've done custom powerups before. I had enemys that gave you a really short invincibility. They work.

Nope. Still doesn't work. I've tried all powerup numbers from 1 to 5, and they don't work.
How does your SOC look Jason?
