That's pretty damn cute! I love how he is proportionally different from the rest of the cast, that's definitely something I wish more people did with their characters. Do you think you might take it a step further and have him look a little less like Tails? There's a lot of potential for a really unique design here but at the moment I feel like there are way too similarities between the two characters for it to be of significance. Otherwise, good work! The sprite looks good as far as I can tell. I would just strengthen the outline on his hair tufts a little.

The black on the ears is a nice touch. Props to you for using thematic aspects from real foxes.

The hairstyle is actually quite fitting to the whole goofy, chubby design, but I can agree that it's slightly cluttered in that forehead area. I highly recommend joining the SRB2 community Discord server, if you're not there already—there are a plethora of talented designers who can help you out.
