srb2 error

every time i try play srb2 an error that says'signal_handler():segment violation" appears. What do i do. I've tried reiinstalling but to no avail.
 
Fix your grammar for one.(Sorry if that falls in Backseat modding) Well could you describe somethings like whats your computer? A Mac or Pc? Are you pressing a certain key? What?
 
well I have windows xp home edition. This game has played for me numerous times but has suddently stopped working.
Also it is in a folder. I start the game up by double clicking srb2win.exe like I normally do.
 
Huh, what did you do when the game stopped working? Also, it seems like somehow the files are scrambled or something... :(
