Do you guys think that srb2 could become fully 3-d?

Duke Nukem 4eva tiem?

But seriously, even though it would be nice, it's not gonna happen. And also, the REAL Sonic games are the classic 2D side-scrollers, not the Sonic Heeeroooooes or the Sonic 2006 crap. :/

Hmm, z axis, y axis, x axis...
3 Dimensions...

Nah, SRB2 isn't 3D at all, even though it has 3 dimensions...

You guys have an awsom point, but still, dont you think it could happen.
I mean if everyone wanted it to

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Moved topic because it belongs in srb2 discussion.

I don't think there will be official models in srb2 because opengl is not supported kthxbie. I don't think voxels would be implemented because they look kinda bleh. They may be slower then running md2s, though I never really ran a game with voxels. I kind of like the sprites anyway. It certainly sets srb2 apart from all the other 3d sonic games/fangames.

SRB2 is 3D. I see an X, Y, and Z coordinate. With 3 dimensions of motion, the game is 3D. The maps are drawn in a 2D plane, and the characters and objects are represented by 2D sprites, but the game itself is unquestionably 3D.
