Is it possible to make a boss like the one found in Green Hill Zone Act 3 or the one found in in Spring Yard Zone Act 3?

PS: I'm using Enable 2D (Not level type 2D).
 
Oh no, is it another way? I cant Soc, or perhaps i just forget it a while and the do it when i can soc.
 
You won't know how to SOC until you read the tutorials. I admit it's intimidating at first, but designing SOCs really isn't all that bad. I made the code for the my Blecch Bouncer SOC in about three hours. Seriously, there's some useful knowledge in the tutorials; take advantage of it.

Spring Yard's wouldn't be possible; it would require moving sector pieces, and that's not possible, I think. Unless polyobjects can work like that?
