Editing wads

Hello, I have a question: I try to edit a character's pic (Name, speed, imformation...) and when I do it Srb2 don't recognises the wad! I edit with XWE. What's wrong?

What the heck is happening?

Make sure you saved the wad in your SRB2 folder.

And make sure there ar no spaces in the name. It doesn't like spaces.

Did you change the names of the lumps? That can cause problems.

Emm... I don't have too much knowledge about lumps, etc...

You just need to remember that the balance and the tailspickup (the last two sets) frames are lowercase. You also need to remember where the WAD is when adding it, because you can include extra folders. In case you don't follow, here's what I do for adding wads:

Code:

addfile wads\chars\wadname.wad

The wadname.wad bit would be the wad I'm inserting into the game.

I only change ONE letter in the text for example, and the WAD is inutilizated. What The Heck!
