The size? You know 32 X34 665 X 332 what is it in this case?The acftual pixel size

Extract one of the sprites from Sonic PLR and look at the size of it yourself.

I'm thinking more along the lines of what you're using the sprites for. A character, or replacing some in-game sprites?

Depends on what you're making. If you're making a character, 70 X 70 is a good size. 140 x 140 works too if you use highress. For Eggman I'd recommend somewhere in the 140 x 140 without highress.
