How do I fix this error?

I deleted Super sprites from a wad (because they were made by someone else) and put superanims 0, and get an error.

R_AddSingleSpriteDef: No patches found for PLAYA1 frame U.
What?

I think you need them because even if you cannot transform in SP and Co-op,you will need them for Match and CTF.

I turned off superanims, and doesnt match just colour characters without super frames yellow?

Yeah, super characters are auto-colored yellow in Match/CTF.

You still need frames. Just fill the slots with blank sprites. Also, use *0 instead of *2*8, *3*7, etc., because then you don't need all those sprites, as 0 is all angles at once.
