Custom Character Emblems?

Is it possible to have custom characters that are built into a level pack get their own emblems of their 'prefcolor' and even have the 1st letter appear in the 'Statistics' menu?

Honestly, I don't know. But maybe with LUA? Or even with socs?

Another problem... As soon as I add 'Maincfg Category' to the MAINCFG lump like the wiki says, it SIGSEGV's on me! If I remove it, the game runs fine, but says 'Game Modified' etc, when in the MAINCFG lump, there is a GameData segment!

EDIT: I just copied a working MAINCFG from a level pack, tweaked it and it worked! AND if you're character uses 'Character 4' and there is no Character 3, type in the emblem Soc 'PLAYERNUM 3' It worked for me =/
