Making the Egg Slimer Work

When I put the Egg Slimer Boss into a level, it dies instantly upon testing the level. I went to the thing types section of the wiki and read about the Egg Slimer, but it does not mention this. How do I get it to work?
 
I thought the wiki meant it moves around an axis- as in the axis is predetermined by where you place the boss. If that's not the case, that explains the problem.

EDIT: Ok Found it. Kind of annoying that you have to use the one from NiGHTS items. They should have a seperate thing for the egg slimer.

I don't have a problem with it; Once you get used to it, it's convenient to have them lumped together into one useful Thing.
 
An axis is an axis. It would be too much to add another one for te Egg Slimer alone, even of it is under the Nights Things section in the builder(s).
