and chaos emeralds bonus points help give you those 1ups! (again unless they changed it.)

I use to beat Ultimate with knuckles in 1.09.4 by looping through Red Volcaino. Sounds like I won't be able to do that this time.

Also, chaos emeralds can get you 50 or more rings! =D

I've never really found that important in 1.09.4, but now that we have more levels, and they're harder, I'm probably going to do it.

Of course, you can still have 7 or 8 lives by the end of THZ3 anyways, so I guess Ultimate's still a pushover.

I cleared Ultimate as Sonic before, I don't see why I can't do it again.

I'm guessing EggRock has some difficult platforming? We've all played PAZ and AGZ, we're good at platforming.

Some of the devs lost almost 30 lives on one of the levels.
 
I should probably mention Rob, who was given setlives 99 at the start of ERZ1 -- and STILL didn't finish it. He had to be given 99 MORE lives to actually complete it.

And it wasn't as bad then as it is now.

People, forget it. Nothing can prepare you for ERZ. NOTHING. =P
 
I'd laugh if someone actually managed it. Hell, I'd scream loud enough to be heard in AUSTRALIA if I performed the feat.
 
Woot, I'm guessing some epic hard challenge coming right up.

None of those will help you. I'm damn good at PAZ, if I do say so myself; and it still took me ~25 lives to pass ERZ1 on my first attempt.

And like I said, it's WORSE now.
