Is it possible to disable the "Lap" HUD?

I'm not sure if it was missed in the wiki or something, but i wish to disable the HUD for the Laps. (Its because it's kinda distracting as it's behind another HUD object that has to be there). How would I disable it?
(Also, sorry for so many help threads, I don't really have a lot of access to talking to someone that knows SRB2's lua very well *cough* through srb2fun *cough*)

As far as I can tell there's no way to disable that part of the HUD I'm afraid. You *could* move its position elsewhere, but there doesn't appear to be any way to turn it off directly.

How would you move a vanilla HUD item? I really want to know..

There should be something to do with that on the wiki somewhere, but I can't remember which article to look at.

Using the "HudItem" SOC header (see this page), or the Lua equivalent (modifying hudinfo[HUD_NAME].x or y). This works only with certain hud items though, but it happens "Lap" is one of those.
