Hosting on old versions?

I am not asking someone to join my netgames, I am simply asking if it is possible to host a game on versions before srb2ME if the joining players are using that version.

You can host with these versions just fine, but you can't advertise on the Master Server. So essentially, IP joining only.

Would that include being able to host on srb2riders? And what about srb2cwin?

srb2cwin.exe is compatible with the new MS but SRB2Riders isn't, therefor you can use srb2cwin with the MS, but not srb2riders.

Compatible? Does that mean that people using cwin will see it advertised?

Yes, but only if they're playing on that same version.
