Sonic Reused/Remade Tracks

Here's some nice tidbits of information. You know Sonic Team's other mascot nobody cared about, Billy Hatcher?

There's a few musical cues (i.e. the Trumpet Blasts in the beginning) in G.I.A.N.T.E.G.G. that shows reusage in the Area - Sweet Mountain level select screen.

Another one is a direct remix I think.
Child's Song from Knuckles Chaotix is remade as
Odd March in Billy Hatcher.

There are other music hints from the Sonic Series in Billy Hatcher but I don't really recall much besides these.

...so you're basically saying they're similar to each other again and again, and not getting to the actual point? =|

About the only thing that I can quickly spot that's anywhere near similar about them is the style of music, which is quite clearly techno-based - but that probably doesn't really count at all, for fairly obvious reasons.
 
I found a sorta-match this morning unintentionally.

Cyber Track remix snippet, Sonic Generations (really, any of the Cyber Track themes)
Ice and Water, Sega Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic Arcade)

Also, Spring Valley (from NiGHTS into Dreams...) and the Sonic Adventure Chao Garden Theme seem to share minor musical influences, a few notes here and there. Considering that both games deal with customizeable digital munchkins, I'll bet the similarities weren't unintentional.

WAU I haven't posted here in forever. :U Anyway, kind of off topic, but I found a couple of "mainstream" counterparts to some Sonic tracks. Fairly certain that these all have had some actual confirmation of them being connected.

Well now, wasn't expecting that one. That Mystic Ruins theme was always one of my favorite songs from the game, and I had previously thought it was an original piece MIDI made for Sonic Chronicles. That begs the question though, what are the rest of the more obscure songs in it?

Knowing the history of the game, I'd be surprised if any of them are originals. However, to give credit where it is due, I absolutely adore this little song:

I actually think it sounds really cute. It isn't nearly as full as the original, but that actually gives it a charm in this rare instance. I can't really explain what feeling the song gives me, but it is something equating to peace and love. As if it would play in a cheery little village around christmas time. I wish the song was put to a better use in game.

It is obviously taken from this, but I didn't know that at the time when I played it.
