How i can make a waterfall in what the character can get in ?

Well my problem is this, when i try to make a waterfall it floods all the map i don't know how to make a waterfall in what the character can get in. like a real life waterfall



Sorry for my english and grammar, i'm trying my best :P

You could upload your map so we can see what you did! It will be easier to help you that way.
 
You have to give a unique tag to the sectors the waterfall will be in, and assign the water block to that tag. The waterfall will appear in all sectors that have that tag, so if you don't set the tag properly the waterfall will appear in almost the entire map.
