If you find 20 emblems and select Mario Koopa Blast from the Secrets menu, it complains that "You need to unlock this level first!" and exits. If memory serves me right this was supposed to be fixed in 2.0.5.
Exact same thing happened to me, but I thought I needed to complete the level I was previously on first, since I quit as soon as I got it. Didn't work.
