Suggestion - Super Run?

You know how in Sonic CD Sonic had three typed of movement on the ground (excluding spin dash)?

Well, I wanted to know if something like that was possible in srb2. Like, you have regular running, then when you grab speedshoes, instead of doing the regular run, you do the super run.

Right now, I suppose it seems rather minor and unimportant, but I wanted to know if something like that is possible.

1: The term is Peel-out. More specifically, Super Peel-Out, but that's more long winded
