SRB2 for Sonic Hacking contest 2013

After hearing the news, I decided it might be a good idea to mention SRB2 in this. I'm sure someone on the forums knows more about this than I do, but as for now there;s a game commentator who's called "SomecallmeJhonny" who is playing Sonic fan games, Rom hacks, etc for the contest. Thought it'd be a good idea to mention SRB2 for it to maybe get some recognition at least.

The video link is there, and I hope maybe SRB2 could at least gain a bit more popularity out of this. It's a decent attempt at least. Opinions anyone?

The Hacking Contest's entry window has been closed since August 8th. Maybe SRB2 can try next year or something.

I don't think we're going to be submitting SRB2 for a hacking contest. It's not, strictly speaking, a hack (though certainly the term applies to many of the pieces of gum and paperclips holding the game together).

Besides, I'd rather wait until 2.1 before we start branching out for publicity. 2.0 really feels like a quick and dirty hackjob. 2.1 will be much higher quality when it's done and will actually feel more like a complete game.
