Those Hackers on Steroids are up to no good again... This time, They are gonna attempt to "dismantle" the Church of Scientology.

I, too am fighting Anonymous over Habbo.com by recruiting Habbos to Counter-Attack the group. anyway enough about me yapping about this, Now it's your turn to reply to this Topic.
 
I've known about this for a little while. All I can say is that they're both wrong, Tom Cruise is dumb regardless of scientology, and that the Anonymous's messages are done very well, and creepy.
 
I heard about this just earlier today. I've researched it, and apparently Scientology is some sort of cult.... otherwise, I don't know much about the whole subject, so I can't side with either of the groups anyway. I'll just sit here eating popcorn while the Youtube videos roll in.

EDIT: Forget it. After reading later posts in the thread, there's no question that Scientology is an evil that needs to be dismantled as soon as possible.
 
Habbo Hotel fails, they've been failing ever since they went 90% web-based instead of having it all in the client (profile, look, etc >_>) and they just keep coming up with cheap gimmicks to earn money. The retro hotels are much better, regardless of legality.
 
I think Anonymous itself should be dismantled. Scientology isn't a International threat to the Web, Anonymous is...
 
I don't like Scientology. I don't think anything it preaches is true, either.

However, I don't think that being wrong justifies violence of any nature. I don't like "Anonymous" either. The individuals that compose up "Anonymous" seem to have sold their lives to this cause, which is something I don't apporve of either.

Well, they are doing good, but it's the way they do it that's bad.

They do troll a lot, like the Myspace hacks, but some of the things they do are actually good things.

EDIT2: My opinion (Oh yay): Well, after watching a few of their videos, I don't seem to care really. It doesn't effect me nor does it scare me. I do not have a MySpace account so I'm under no real risk. They seem to be after only one thing: That scitology (What ever it's called) church. Although I've never really heard of it, it's been spoofed on South Park so I've heard of it. Although I don't agree with their actions, I don't really DISagree. Go crazy, just don't hack me. That's all I really care about.

It's very hard to explain. I've asisted them in Habbo Hotel raids for a while so I can easily understand, but it won't make sence to people who haven't been around them a lot.
 
Wait wait wait.... Sorry to sound so n00by, but this is confusing me.
First, is Scientology some sort of religion? If so, what kind?
Second, what's the habbo hotel? How does it have to do with stuff? And, why do these guys want to take down scientology? Sorry, I've just never heard of this stuff, and I'm interested.
