Compiling Source Codes With Visual C++ 2010 Express

So, I've been trying to compile the source code for SRB2 with help from the wiki page but alas I don't know where to put the required libraries and headers which i supose are as listed:

• FMOD
• directx8
• dxguid

Secondly, where do go to "Simply open the project file"? There is lots of files and I just can't seem to find it.

Last but not least, why was fmod and directx mentioned in the vc++ express tutorial and yet the dxguid left out? Do I not need it?
