How do you join your own dedicated server?

I made a dedicated server today but I can't join it. Why?

You need to use a different port to connect to a server on your computer. Start the game with the parameter -clientport 5030 then type connect localhost in the console.

How do you do that. I am using the dedicated server launcher and it says nothing about clientport5030

Create a shortcut and edit it with "srb2win.exe -clientport 5030"

Do you have to have 5030 open as well?

It really doesn't matter if you're connecting to localhost. You're just sending data right back to yourself, so it never goes through a router in the first place.
