Music problems with SLADE3

Hello, I have been having some trouble with Slade3. I've been trying to add music to my level pack, but i dont know what is going wrong! I've named my file O_MAPF1M and i get the data file. But for some reason, the music just wont play!

I sincerely doubt this is SLADE's fault.

What format is the music? Does nothing play with "tunes 281" in the console?

Yeah, I was using Mpeg4-audio file. However, i dont think it works with any type of editor. Im currently searching for OGG files of the music.

Isn't MP4 a video file format? I mean, I suppose you could store audio in it...

Anyway, Audacity can apparently import MP4 files (and can definitely export OGG files), but it also apparently requires the FFmpeg library; I've not really tried importing an MP4, so try this at your own risk.

Nice! It worked and now the music is playing! It turns out that i had the wrong file.

It's both an audio and a video format. It's just that MPEG-4 files that contain only audio usually have a .m4a file extension.
