SRB2 Source Code

Bookmark the SVN address in an SVN client. Clicking the link in a browser probably isn't going to work.

I updated the URL for the subversion path, it's now svn://lawarias.game-server.cc/SRB21094

For me all of the srb2 websites including svn except the forum and srb2.org are down. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

How do you use a SVN?

I tried Tortise SVN, but it seemed to be like the server version, not client. (It wouldn't let me connect, only do SVN on my own computer)
Please give a Download Link for a good SVN client or whatever you like to call them!

What the!?

Anyways, lawarias.game-server.cc seems to be dead, and I can't get the SOC Editor with the fixed Var2 thing off the SRB2 Wiki because of it, so how do you search on it??

already known

Yeh, I know it is moved to a new site for the SVN, but what about the rest of the stuff??? eg. the SOC Editor and stuff. Cause it was hosted on the old site that had the SVN.

SVN

I tried accessing the SVN through FTP, but I needed a username and password. Someone please give me one. The reason I'm using FTP is because I can't install an SVN client.

SVN

I don't care what you say, just please give me the password and username! And Yes, SVN does = FTP because it is hosted on Apache as HTTP, FTP. SVN just means that you are accessing it a special way to do with changing files and stuff.

You ignorant little fool. SVN is not FTP. HTTP != FTP, Apache doesn't do FTP on its own, SVN is source management not file sharing and stop trying to act smart.

Read up before you start spewing crap.

No, SVN isn't FTP. They're both completely different protocols. It's like saying all oranges are apples because they both grow on trees.

SVN

Look, I know 'dis stuff. SVN is just a special way of managing files. You could still use FTP or HTTP to access them, it's just that the SVN features wouldn't work because you are not using SVN.

Try typing in http://code.srb2.org
Or even ftp://code.srb2.org
See! A-P-A-C-H-E!

COOL! Someone must have read this, because now http://code.srb2.org doesn't just say Apache is working perfectly or whatever it did before.

FTP? subversion can't be done over FTP, I think you are mixing that up with WebDAV

HTTP/WebDAV access that would work, IF WebDAV was setup and running on apache on that domain, but it isn't, the SVN repo is running on top of svnserve that only subversion clients can talk to. anyway there is no user/pass to copy code out of the repo, it only ask you for one when you try to upload changes into it.

Stop making yourself look like a fool to the two people (Alam and I) that setup the SVN server in the first place.
