He didn't drop off the face of earth, I'll assure you. He recently joined the dev team as a coding assistant. He just doesn't work on his mod anymore.

Yeah. SRB2JTE is pretty old, and Jason no more seems to care about the development. A way Universe will be fixed, and JTE ported to the new version is that instead of Jason making it the FANS of JTE do it.
