I touch the source code all the time. No complaints from me or any of the other people who know how to program.

You probably don't understand the source code that much :D

I touch the source code in its special place all the time. I've NEVER had anything like that happen, though.

You open it up. You change a value, perhaps add in more function calls. You compile. Assuming no errors were generated, you run the modified executable.

Simple.

Those things that look like Eggman-Missiles...I touched those and they hurt me! How'd they get there? And the Sonics are like rings, I've got a modified SRB2. O_o

EDIT: And for the scores lives and such, I did use SOCs.

EDIT2: Email Sonic Team Jr or post a log so we can fix..blah blah...wait, I screwed it up. Log anyway.

Heh, I remember the first time I tried editing the source code.

You couldn't jump, gravity was uber-high, you got a game-over as soon as you died, and NiGHTS mode, Don't get me started on NiGHTS mode.

Oh no, it's a bug. It's just more of a runtime error than a compile one. Also it's one he'd have introduced. Either way, a bug is what it is.
