Default Srb2 c

According to the wiki there was a C version of SRB2 made with the engine that became Sonic Project Mettrix. I got to know, was there anything playable of SRB2 C? Were any screens taken of this version during development?

try http://stealth.emulationzone.org , if that site still exists.

It looked pretty much like the TGF version graphics-wise, but in 320x200 and a palette that would make DOS proud.

Direct ports, well that's good to know. So at least I know that I'm not missing out on anything except for a different engine.
