Alright, you silly people.

If you're getting the "Input string was not in a correct format" bug...

Use this revision. It fixes the problem.

I'd modify the OP to say this, but that's kind of difficult for me. =P

(And before you complain, or say "lol bump", this is more than legitimate enough of a reason to bump this. So hush. =P)

Why do I get this when I say "refresh?" or when it starts up?

Strange, I can't replicate any of these occurrences, no matter how hard I try to. If I had a surefire reason for the crash, I'd likely be able to pinpoint it and fix it up real quick... but so far, I haven't found one.

[23:58] <&Kagome> Here's how it worked
[23:58] <&Kagome> I had the old one in there, "SRB2 Launcher.exe"
[23:58] <&Kagome> I put the new one in as "SRB2MSLauncher2.exe"
[23:59] <&Kagome> I deleted the old one, and renamed the new one to "SRB2 Launcher.exe"
[23:59] <&Kagome> without first opening it
[23:59] <&Kagome> it crashed
[23:59] <&Kagome> I renamed it to "SRB2 Launcher (Inu).exe"
[23:59] <&Kagome> then restored the old one
[23:59] <&Kagome> it worked
[23:59] <&Kagome> I deleted the old one
[23:59] <&Kagome> it still worked
Strange, strange.

I don't honestly get it.

I'll tell what it's happening here:

1) SRB2MSLauncher2.exe worked fine...

2) I host a server, worked fine, lists my server. Ok.

3) I add a wad in my server. Nothing wrong.

4) I use MOTD. I try to list server, SRB2MSLauncher2.exe closes immediately after it lists the servers.

5) I close my server. SRB2MSLauncher2.exe works again.

6) I close SRB2MSLauncher2, try it again, and closes immediately after it tried to list servers.

I just attempted to mess around with that.

Didn't crash here.

...this is starting to get ridiculous.

Strange enough that you guys keep getting these crashes, because mine's work perfectly well!

Also thank you very much for the update of the launcher, i almost thought that there was no hope about hosting a netgame before my vacation!

The errors are back, but I got this to one time...

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system>
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
[/spoiler:b9795b0683]

I hope that helps.(weird Why is it happening again?)

Anyway if you get the error. you can just move it and click on the launcher.

It is gibberish to me.

Hah. Strangely, now I'm getting it. I'm working on debugging it right now.

[19:38] <Oogaland> <MattW_CFI> It's SPAZZO's server that's crashing the MS. <--- Any servers using the new PT_SERVERINFO format will crash it.
[19:38] <MattW_CFI> Well
[19:38] <MattW_CFI> that kind of explains the MS launcher crashes.
[19:38] <Oogaland> I should really fix that before ME...

Oogaland's fault, people, not mine! =P

The fact that this new EXE crashes is irrelevant, the old one would have crashed too in this circumstance.

So it is Spazzo's fault!

There he is!

*Angry Mob rushes*

Anyway, It nice to know what the problem is and it is being fixed!

Nice to see you're helping to cause the problem. The 1.1 match beta triggers this bug, too.

Yeah! I know isn't it great?
*Mob runs after me*

:-/

Anyway I wonder what will happen if a ghost server version of 1.1 or 2.0 will do? (Meh, the mob still chasing me so I do feel like doing it.)
*spoiler for Kitsune*
[spoiler:765130e810]I am actually glad that Spazzo tested that server or we would REALLY have a mob (of joiners) on the message board. (Why Do my Ms launhcer keep crashing?!1!!11?onequestionone) *Mob rushes to thank Spazzo.* [/spoiler:765130e810]

Ghost servers don't send reply packets. =P

And quit the asterisk roleplay.

It works now...

EDIT: Now it doesn't!

If it doesn't work then a server that was hosting 1.1 and greater is hosting on the Master server. (Most likely anyway/)
