Confirmed "Ripple" effect doesn't work in OpenGL.

Self explanatory, No matter what 3D Floor type, Quicksand or Water, they just don't work, Heat wave effect However works but acts different.
EDIT : Different from Software renderer.

That's because the opengl renderer doesn't support the ripple effect at all.

EDIT: Do you mean the surface distortion? That's what is not supported. The whole screen waving when underwater, however, should work.

Any chance to see an alternative for it in future ? Like OpenGL Heatwave effect instead applied in it's place ?

Maybe if we had someone actively interested in OpenGL. Developer work tends to be 80% what is fun to do and 30% what needs to be done (there's a bit of overlap), so corralling us to add nontrivial features to that renderer is like herding cats.
