Pen Tablet for spriting?

I doubt it would be a good idea, but has anyone tried/uses it? If so, is it easier than using a mouse for spriting? I'd like to know as soon as possible.

Well, my tablet lags up the second you make the pen hit the surface, so I doubt it would be good. I use the mouse, and draw the sprites at 280x280, then resize it down to 70x70. If you wanna try making sprites like that, go ahead and knock yourself out.
 
GIMP does not like my tablet, so I do what little I do with the mouse. Tablet would certainly be better for making stuff look natural and getting down the general idea, but I'd -always- do the fine work with the mouse.
 
Hm... I've tried it and it works ok, but it's hard to do straight lines and stuff with it.
