Competitive aiming-based gametypes are not and will not be viable in this game so long as the ridiculous amount of control lag persists. It's a problem unique to SRB2 that really drags down the multiplayer aspects, especially ringslinger modes.

The singleplayer looks, feels, and sounds great. All the new content, visuals, and especially the soundtrack stand out so far compared to older versions. It's a damn shame the netcode's still the trash heap it is. I keep coming back to this game every few years whenever there's a major update...
