I was reading everyone's posts, until I thought of something, if the current SRB2 (1.09.4) is slopply coded and uses more than it needs, I was thinking if an older version of SRB2 that is not as advanced could be cleaned up more easily, get all the bug fixes out of it, and then attempt to port...

Is it possible to change the way you select menu items (like instead of using the up-down keys, use the joystick or W and S to select 1 player, multiplayer ect.) without reprogramming/recompiling the exe?
cool! 8) Thanks! I created a video game system (for my self, personal use) that's running parts of my OS and parts of Windows and I'm redoing SRB2 to make it compatible.
If i burned SRB2 to a cd, and i put it in a computer without a burner (to save logs, game data, config ect.) would it just let it pass, or would the game shut down with an error?
i edited the scr of SRB2 and have it just the way i want. Now how do I get all the files in the scr to compile? (Im using the bloodshed/ dec C++ thing)
whats the value for typeoflevel = "" that will make it so that it goes to the next level after you kill the boss? I tried 4097, but it wouldn't recognize it as a boss level.
