So after playing the game on PC finally, I can say that mania was OUTSTANDING. The music was amazing, the bosses were great fun, the new stages and overall art style of the game were just beautiful, the special stages, while hard IMO, are still fun to play, everything was just a blast...

I couldn't agree more. I think they should have had it as a mini game or something as having it as a bonus stage was kinda unnecessary.
