It has to do with the scrapped light speed attack that was intended for V5 but was removed because it was considered more of an adventure sonic ability.

The bounce from Sonic Lost World ported from 2.1 to 2.2. 3 bounces with each being higher than the last. The last uncurls you leaving you vulnerable. Use Spin while jumping to bounce. Note: You cannot use this as Super Sonic, due to him getting the Float ability instead.

Those arent spring sprites, those are his slow float sprites. He actually doesn't have special spring frames while super strangely enough.

He can actually do that if he goes Mystic Super with SMS added.

Load him ingame, not with a launcher. This will be fixed in the upcoming patch.

Are you using a launcher? If so, try loading Modern Sonic from the ingame addons menu.

Unfortunately, the custom skincolor isnt the only thing that Modern uses from new versions. There are functions from newer versions that he also uses.

They will be released eventually. I'm not sure when as I'm not the creator of them.
