I get that, I guess my issue there is that Sonic could abuse this to reach places he shouldn't be able to get to or reach early by effortlessly thokking into a bumper since it seems like it can send you all the way to the ceiling.

Tried implementing this into a level I'm still conceptualizing and I noticed that regardless of the angle of the bumper I can make it launch me really high, I've tried 0°, 1° and 90° and they all achieve this same result. Is this possible to fix or am I just using it wrong?

I was playing on 1280x720 when I first encountered it. Went through some insane lag after a while. I then played it on 640x480 and it still occurred. I don't think your solution is far-fetched or anything actually, I get that the resolution might effect how the things are drawn in the HUD...

Basically, to extend a little bit of what TSDude and Ezer.Arch just wrote, your problem doesn't have to do anything with the WAD file being too big. It relies on the fact that you can only get that message if you booted any WAD files before clicking on "JOIN GAME". I repeat, you're not supposed...

Did you add the WAD file before entering the server? You're not supposed to do that. When you join the server it'll automatically load the WADs that the server had loaded upon joining.

Well, I was running Windows XP then and I'm running XP now. I recall reinstalling XWE (1.17?) and the feature stopped working and I had to do it one at a time.
