My initial post now has my KIMOKAWAIII entries, plus some very small updates to SMZ (mostly fixing some weirdness that could occur if someone joined mid-map).
EDIT: Quick update for the sole purpose of giving Diamond Valley a flicky list. Sorry for being so late!
Well, here's Shade Mountain Zone, rebuilt from scratch.
Porting notes:
-The glider controls have changed: you can now strafe, and Holding Jump To Accelerate is no longer a thing.
-The map still has two hidden emblems and one ring emblem.
-The level clear/failure code that was added in...
Sometimes, you can pass right through the sector meant to restore you to normal size in Egg Satellite, remaining shrunk for the rest of the stage.
In case it can help pinpointing the issue, I attached a replay which this bug occurs.
Pointy Egg has been updated!
Changelog:
Changed map name to Pointy Egg
Added a level select picture
Added time and score emblems
Modified pre-boss segment with slightly more gameplay and less clunky ring placement
Added extra blocks to get out of the water
Made the boss' dash move have...
A_ChangeAngleRelative and A_TrapShot (plus A_Repeat to keep it going for a while) should should be able to produce something like that, I think.
I actually feel bad for having nothing to say about it omg
I did think of something when replaying it, though: what if the boss randomly selected its...
I tried to compile some basic thoughts and suggestions on each of the bosses. I didn't have time to learn the intricacies of Soniguri, though, so I'll try to come back to that later.
I almost procrastinated myself into oblivion and had to make the entire boss part of this thing today. Yikes!
Still, here it is... the Unidus craze's logical conclusion. There are a few rough edges left to deal with, but that's what the polishing phase is for, right?

I ended up making one last update (available in the original post once again) to fix things I really should have done earlier:
-Added a small step so that Knuckles can properly make that one blue spring jump in the first river area.
-Added the 31 other player spawns.
-Added a level select...
I have to admit I'm cheating a little with that label, considering I got to hone my skills with MM8BDM Obstacle Course and all...
Anyway, I updated my original post with a slightly improved version of the map:
-Added a little bit of extra scenery, including the, uh, diamonds.
-Added an...
Despite everything, this is actually the first normal single player map I've completed for SRB2. Who'd have thought?
It turned out a lot more compact and platforming-oriented than average, but I think I ended up with a good enough result.

Title: Diamond Valley...
Looks like I'll be coming out of hiding for a while for this.
So, quick question: would it be unacceptable to have a map that reloads itself as part of a gimmick? I want to be sure I won't be ruining the party with my silly ideas.
Welp, turns out I messed up the lua for Shade Mountain and that made the message telling the player to press jump not display. Apologies to anyone whose day was ruined!! I've attached a fixed version of the script.
Also, Tropical Island seems to spawn its emerald on Tailsbot if he is present...
Can't avoid my fate forever, I guess.
I'm honestly not very happy with how this map turned out, but since this is SUBARASHII, I don't really have the option not to submit it. At least you can't say I didn't try.
Hold Jump to go faster!
Here's a screenshot:
Hey look, it's this thing again! I totally missed the last one, so I think I should try to participate for once.
It'll probably be a terrible failure, but I'll try making an Emerald Stage with some old lua scripts I never figured out an use for. Ideally, I'd like to make one for the blue emerald.
How are you posting while you're banned? Is there some kind of ban evasion system involved in this mess now?
The MB will never be the same again after this...
Making the ball fullbright can be done with the LUA.thokkerflags level header parameter, which should have FF_FULLBRIGHT. You can look at Glacier Gear's level header for an example.
