If I use converted music from previous sonic games in the past in my WAD file, would it prevent me from releasing it on the MB because it's property of Sega/sonic team? If I did, would it get me into the legal kind of trouble with sega? I'm unsure as to whether or not this infringes copyright...

Unfortunately according to autosavers linked picture (Can't quote it if it's not on the same page because I'm using my 3DS) there's not a lot of time left between now and the final signing of ACTA, and they don't have an organized opposition against them either, so I don't think theres too much...

Laptops can still have good performance, I have one and it runs flawlessly. When I put srb2 at a CD it was really slow booting up, so I moved it to the pc itself and it run much better. Perhaps you could temporarily move srb2 to the computers to play it, and then put it back on your flash drive...

If you really want to start mapping for this stage, start reading the SRB2 wiki: http://wiki.srb2.org/ If you ever do start anything, don't rush it and start small. That's the advice I've been given anyways. Back on topic: Does anyone know of any progress on those "robo-hood" sprites?
