As for I know, you need to know what they're doing becuase if they're downloading something for example, you'll know thats causing you to lag. How many times did you expereince lag when joining a netgame?

I agree with you there. First time going through was annoying because of how difficult it is to turn the board and i also kept getting crushed. Once I memorized all the traps though, the Wave Ocean surfing part was quite enjoyable.

You might want to fix how the textures are in the sky. At the end of the level theres the same thing too. Also, just a suggestion but if you can i think it would be a good idea if you put a colormap for the water.

To answer your question, No I've never had a non-thokfest and i doubt i ever will unless the server puts forceskin on Tails or Knuckles. And besides, I hardly do race because of thokfests. It gets repetitive.
